Communication
The online discussion I had conducted with my actor Samula had been very limited to say the least. Because Sam is in my Creative Media class, I was able to closely discuss every aspect of his character and the filming days I had planned out. As a result of our previous partnership where he played a comparable character in my past film-poem attempt, he had already understood how crucial his performative acting would be when further exaggerating his facial and body language to convey specific emotions to the audience watching. Our meetings were kept professional and productive. When I did have to message him, it had been the result of my time off, or when some sudden changes were made to the call sheets I had supplied him with. Overall, I had no problems with Samual due to his proficient and understanding nature when going into every scene of my film. He was flexible for the filming day alternatives I had supplied him with and had taken external measures to understand where I was going with his character, something that made his overall acting more believable.
When wanting to book the art rooms found upstairs, I got in touch with my tutor Gianna and asked if it would be possible if I was given the emails to the tutors who occupied that room. I not only wanted to use the space but was curious if I would be able to book an easel for my marsh filming days found outside the college premises. My tutor offered to email the teachers and asked herself. After she did, a couple of days went by until I was notified that I would be able to use the days I had given as examples for my initial room filming days and had been supplied an easel I could take outside college premises.
