After I had completed the first edit of my final product, I decided to consult a number of my tutors and college peers when looking for constructive feedback that would further improve my edit. Most of the feedback seen above had been very positive, having my tutor Gianna outline a series of minor changes I could add to my next edit. In addition to this, I conducted a further peer focus group that never saw the light of day. Halfway through, I found myself having to explain the abstract nature of the editing, the poetic way the narrative could be interpreted in multiple viewings and the many metaphors that had been occupied through the film's runtime. This had been a critical error on my behalf as I had tried targetting people found outside my primary target audience. Although I wasn't able to collect a substantial amount of target audience feedback from any external subjects, I realised that both Gianna and Cara, my other teacher fit inside the guidelines of my specified target audience boundaries. From the feedback I received of them, I was able to comprehend that my target audience research had perfectly captured the ideal audience group as a result of their high engagement with the many conventions some of my younger peers didn't find interesting.
